Is Instagram auto DM safe?

Safe when it uses the official API

Meta offers an official Instagram messaging API for business tools. Apps that use it are reviewed by Meta, log you in on Instagram's own page and never see your password. Sending a DM to someone who commented on your post is exactly what Meta built it for.

Red flags

Avoid any tool that asks for your Instagram password, sends DMs to people who never interacted with you, or promises to DM new followers or people from a list. These act like a bot on your account and can get it limited.

Instagram's rules for automatic DMs

Your account must be a Business or Creator account. You can send one private reply per comment, within 7 days of the comment. Instagram also limits how many DMs an account can send per hour.

How CommentDM keeps you within the limits

CommentDM sends up to about 600 DMs an hour per account, below Instagram's own limit, spaces messages out and queues busy posts in order. You can also set your own daily limit, and pause everything in one tap.

Is "Meta verified" needed?

No. Meta Verified is a paid badge for your profile; it isn't needed for auto DMs. What matters is that the tool uses Meta's official API.
